General Statement of Responsibilities and Duties
The Appraisal Manager is responsible for management of the appraisal process.
In this role you will work with some of the most innovative and exciting technology-focused firms in the art industry. Appraisal Bureau is a quickly growing team and network with an entrepreneurial environment. This role focuses on Fine Art valuations - knowledge of Contemporary Art is essential.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Appraisal Management -
Liaise with internal or pre-approved/onboarded consultant appraisers to assign incoming valuations based on specialty and experience
Manage timeline of appraisals
Conduct final document production and review of appraisal assignments; review and edit text as needed, including market analysis/valuation analysis/artist biographies
Deliver final reports; liaise with Accounts Receivable for invoicing
Requirements and Qualifications
Undergraduate degree required, Masters preferred with focus on Contemporary Art or similar
Familiarity with computer programs including Trello, Slack, Google Workspace
General working knowledge of Contemporary Art and markets
Strict attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team required
