Art Installation Design is seeking a highly motivated General Manager to join our team.
Art Installation Design (AID) is a boutique company that specializes in installation, transportation and design services for galleries, museums, private and corporate collectors throughout the NYC area and the continental United States.
The General Manager’s responsibilities include:
Develop and submit accurate estimates to clients.
Manage proposals, work orders and bills of lading.
Generate and manage the daily scheduling and utilization of staff.
Manage warehouse operations, logistics and inventory.
Communicate with and manage relationships with staff, clients and vendors.
Requirements include:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) for emails, estimating, scheduling and inventory control.
Experience in moving, estimating and scheduling.
Strong knowledge of art handling, installation and packing procedures.
Knowledge of industry standard best practices.
Team player, with the ability to lead and communicate instructions.
Experience in fine art services field preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
