On a typical day you will:

Coordinate events for Pratt’s Institutional Advancement department, including fundraising outreach, logistical management, and administrative duties
Manage relations and communications with Pratt faculty, staff, and departments for IA events
Utilize Raiser’s Edge to input donor information, create queries, pull lists and reports, and track various event tasks such as participant registration and seating arrangements
Schedule and manage volunteers and staff duties at events
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma is required; college preferred.

Experience: 3-4 years of related experience in not-for-profit or higher education events fundraising.

Required Skills:

Must have above-average computer skills including database, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Raiser’s Edge experience required.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to produce under deadline pressure with attention to detail.
Must possess strong confidence in applying quick, smart, independent judgment, decision making, and problem-solving when necessary.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member and to maintain a cool head while meeting deadlines required.
An understanding of the important role of diversity, equity, and inclusion to institutional advancement.
