About

Welcome to the Arizona District for the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition. This year's auditions will be held on Saturday December 14th, 2004 at the Arizona State University's Katzin Concert Hall, 50 E Gammage Parkway, Tempe, AZ.

Auditions will start at approximately 10:30 a.m. and registration will be available starting at 9:30 a.m.
Singers should arrive 45-60 minutes prior to their audition time, and times are subject to change due to cancellations
There will be warm up rooms available.
Singers should bring their own music. If you wish to coordinate with the provided pianist ahead of time, please let the District Director know
Feedback will be given after the competition results have been announced.
If there are questions please contact the District Director.

This year's Arizona District competition is open to the public, free general admission. Our judges will be Natalie Burrows, Lawrence Edelson and Jason Ferrante. Our pianist is Dr. Robert Mills.

How to Apply

Singers that have advanced to the District Round will receive a notification regarding the opening of registration. You will be prompted to log in to your Dashboard, select a District, and pay the $30 application fee to reserve your spot. Districts are limited to 25 singers and will operate on a first come, first served basis.
