ABA is seeking a fall intern focusing on social media assets and data entry for tracking and maintaining a global exhibition schedule relevant to our clients, creating artist biographies, and managing a wealth of information imperative for information distribution between clients, principal, and sales team.
General Responsibilities include learning to:
- Update internal exhibition calendar spreadsheet and keeping the most accurate up- to-date information on recent exhibitions and art fairs (domestic and international)
- Create and post to ABA social media accounts using style guidelines
- Create artist biographies in detail as they relate to client presentation and education
- Database entry and management using Collectors Systems, ArtLogic
- Assist with the creation of digital presentations using Adobe Creative Suite and
SketchUp
- Manage digital art library
Qualifications:
Candidates should have an interest in the contemporary art world and some level of experience in the field. Candidate must be a very strong writer and should have a 4-year degree and either be enrolled in a graduate degree or just completed one. Intern must be detail oriented and able to manage time independently, possess a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills. A self-starter and being able to stay on top of tasks independently is of utmost importance.
