Young artists from around the world have the opportunity to demonstrate their extraordinary talent and musicianship through our virtual piano competition! The Princeton Festival piano competition is in its sixteenth year. Last season 245 pianists participated from 25 states and 32 countries.
The Princeton Festival Piano Competition is open to artists of any nationality, state, or country of residence.
Artists may enter more than one category according to their respective age on June 1, 2022. Proof of age is required with the application.
Artists who are students or relatives of the adjudicators or a Princeton Festival/Princeton Symphony official may not enter the competition.
Materials Required
Complete the online application. You will be asked to provide your performance video file, as well as identification verifying the age of the pianist (scan or photograph of driver’s license, passport, or birth certificate).
A separate application fee of $50 is required for each category entered, with the exception of the Open Class where the fee is $75.
