Shipping Coordinator
Gander and White specializes in the domestic and world-wide movement of high value works of art and collectible items.
As part of the company’s continuing growth, our New York operation is seeking a Full Time Administrative and Shipping Coordinator to work in our Arts Department.
Previous experience in our field is necessary (registrar, gallery administrator, shipping coordinator, art handler familiar with office work). This is an office position in our office located in Long Island City, NY
Applicants must possess strong administrative, organizational and communication skills and professional yet friendly customer service skills.
An arts related degree or personal knowledge of the Art World is required.
A significant experience with the handling / packing of Art and Furniture will be an advantage.
You will need to be accustomed to multi-task and work within a team and have a strong customer service sense.
Negotiable salary will be based on experience. Full benefits offered for this position.
